Vintage 1941 Westcraft

March 1, 2019

This trailer was a pleasure to go through. It had lots of history being used in WW II.

As it happens today, it was happening back in 1941, people were using their RVs for living quarters while they worked and it just so happened that work for the original owner was as a Defense Worker during the war.

This make and model was a top of line trailer and was very rare due to the totally cool trolley roof which let in a bunch of light. You can see the beautiful wood work throughout and it never ceases to amaze me how much storage is fit in with a really big kitchen. Granted, there is no bathroom but like in RV Parks today the owner used a central public bathroom/wash house.

I am a RV lover. All things RV are intriguing to me right down to the little details. I love to travel, especially in the Beaver, and combining our adventures with our reviews really is having my cake and eating it too. We are rvSometimers, meaning that we do things just a little different then most RV vloggers but it just goes to show that anyone can fit into this lifestyle.

    1. I think it was so cool that they would live in their RVs and work out of them. It’s definitely a classic
