Vintage Winnebago Brave // RV Tour

November 17, 2018

So you ask, what did we do while we were hanging out in Amarillo, TX?

Well let me tell you! We are crazy RV people and when someone puts the word MUSEUM together with RV I just wanted to move in. RVs of all ages were found in this museum and it really takes you back to the way things started.

The 1973 Winnebago Brave was beautiful! It was in such great shape and it immediately took me back to being a little girl that desperately wanted to go in the, real one. Ok I admit I would have liked to have had the Barbie one too. I dreamed of what it would look like and how everything would work.

After watching our filming I did notice that I completely missed the bed over the cab. I guess that is part of being short I miss the stuff up high, but I would have liked to check that out some more. So technically I would have to say that the Brave could sleep 6.

I love all of the memorabilia and seeing how the RV industry has evolved. RVing really is big these days but it also has a long history of really wonderful rigs that were very innovative for their time.

It was fun to tour and film them while imagining and remembering how it used to be. If you’ve been please tell us about your experience and which one you liked the best.

More about Denise

I am a RV lover. All things RV are intriguing to me right down to the little details. I love to travel, especially in the Beaver, and combining our adventures with our reviews really is having my cake and eating it too. We are rvSometimers, meaning that we do things just a little different then most RV vloggers but it just goes to show that anyone can fit into this lifestyle.
