We made our way back to our home base in the Shuswap at just the right time. The sun was shining and things had dried up. No mud! I love that.

We are lucky enough to live on a huge, beautiful, clear lake called the Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada. We really like to be here over the summer months, but having a large lakefront property also has a lot of work attached to it. Lucky for me Kory likes those kind of chores, well especially now that he has his green helper.

I love to sit at the window, on the deck or head down to the beach or dock and just watch. There is always something to see. The animals are my favourite thing, from many different types of birds to fish, to deer, bear or the cutest otters. Summer brings out many tourists and summer families. So you can always hear laughter, boats and splashing water. It can be so much fun here.

Kory was super excited to come back and get his new John Deere 1025FILB tractor. He had been dreaming and hoping and planning for a long time and things finally came to fruition. The buying process went really smoothly thanks to Ryan from the Kamloops branch, he was knowledgeable and confident in his products. Ryan delivered the tractor to our house right on time and then hung out to explain all of the features, making sure Kory was comfortable detaching and reattaching the implements. Now every time I turn around Kory is on to a new project and I’m going, Whaaat!
