The Living Desert Zoo was a fun yet relaxing day! It was a great way to check out desert plants and lots of great animals. Did you know that they have a big, high tech animal hospital there?

We enjoyed checking everything out at our own pace. Sometimes we feel like we are running our feet off and this day gave us some time to just “giraffe around”, if you know what I mean!

The giraffe is kind of the “theme animal” for our family, you know taller then us and a red head, so we really enjoy any opportunity to see them, and this year at the Living Desert Zoo it was the Year of the Giraffe so it was meant to be that we finally went.

We filmed this adventure in March 2018 and then carried on to spend the night in a casino parking lot as we were just too exhausted to go further, haha. We never seem to make it very far but we don’t care we having everything we need right behind us!
